Getting export documentation right is essential to avoid costly delays, unexpected charges, and missed shipping deadlines.
Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce are here to support with your export documentation needs through our professional certification services.
We can assist with the certification of the following types of export documentation:
UK Certificates of Origin
Issued at the request of your overseas customer, these verify the origin of exported goods for customs clearance. The certificates are completed by the exporter, and then certified by an authorised body, such as the Chamber of Commerce.
UK EUR1 Movement Certificates
These certificates are preference documents, allowing reduced or zero import duties in non-EU countries with UK trade agreements. Goods must originate in the UK to qualify.
Arab Certifications of Origin
These certificates can be required for exports to Arab League countries. Like the UK Certificate of Origin, these confirm the origin of goods and may require both certification and legalisation by the Arab Chamber and relevant embassy.
Egyptian British Certificate of Origin Legalisation
Certain exports to Egypt using a UK Certificate of Origin must be legalised by the Egyptian Embassy. We handle both certification and legalisation for you.
ATA Carnets
These are customs documents which act as a passport for temporary exports, allowing goods to leave and return unchanged without a customs declaration or paying duties.

How to Apply:
Apply Online with eCERT
All certificates requiring certification must be completed using the electronic software (eCERT) and manual certificates are unfortunately no longer accepted.

What is eCERT?
eCERT is the online platform used for applying for export documents such as:
UK & Arab British Certificates of Origin
UK EUR1 Certificates
Commercial document certification (e.g. invoices, packing lists)
All applications are checked and certified by our BCC-accredited team, and you don’t even need to leave your desk.
Use of the eCERT system allows two submission methods:
1. Express Service:
Fastest turnaround method
Receive certified documents back electronically
Print them yourself using your own printer. (please note printed applications must be printed on plain A4 paper in colour.)
2. Standard Service
We print and return the certified documents to you.
Required for some countries where original ink certification or signatures are needed.

For certain documents requiring ink certification (e.g. invoices), please post signed copies to:
