Our Purpose & Community Impact

Supporting Lincolnshire Businesses for Over 130 Years

Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening the economy of Greater Lincolnshire by supporting businesses, encouraging investment, developing skills and creating opportunities for sustainable economic growth.
For more than 130 years, we have worked to create an environment where businesses of every size can thrive, recognising that successful businesses create employment, attract investment, strengthen local communities and contribute to long-term regional prosperity.
As an accredited member of the British Chambers of Commerce network, we combine national influence with local knowledge, ensuring businesses across Greater Lincolnshire benefit from expert support, advocacy and opportunities while remaining firmly rooted in the communities we serve.

Our Mission

Our mission is to strengthen the Greater Lincolnshire economy by supporting, connecting and representing businesses, developing skills, encouraging innovation and creating opportunities that benefit employers, employees and local communities alike.
We believe that when businesses succeed responsibly, they create jobs, invest locally, improve productivity and contribute to stronger, more resilient communities.

Our Vision

We want Greater Lincolnshire to be recognised as one of the UK’s most prosperous, innovative and resilient places to live, work and do business.
Our vision is to create an inclusive and supportive business environment where organisations of every size have access to the knowledge, skills, networks and opportunities they need to achieve sustainable growth while contributing positively to the wider economy.

Our Public Benefit

Our purpose extends beyond supporting individual businesses. We exist to promote economic prosperity across Greater Lincolnshire by creating opportunities that benefit the wider business community, local residents and future generations.
While membership provides access to additional services and benefits, many of our activities, partnerships, events and initiatives contribute to the wider regional economy through collaboration with local authorities, educational institutions, government agencies, community organisations and strategic partners.
Income generated through membership subscriptions and our services is fully reinvested into delivering programmes, improving services and developing initiatives that strengthen businesses and support sustainable economic development. We have no shareholders, and no profits are distributed to individuals.
Our work helps to:
  • Support new and growing businesses.
  • Encourage investment across Greater Lincolnshire.
  • Promote entrepreneurship and innovation.
  • Deliver training, skills development and professional learning opportunities.
