Read MoreLincoln-based fabricator of aluminium and PVCu windows, doors, conservatories and curtain walling, Tradeglaze, has taken delivery of a new cutting machine for its aluminium factory on Bishops Road. Following an investment of over £500,000 in machinery over the last year, the new Emmegi Precision TS2 double mitre saw is part of the company’s long-term sustainable growth plan.
Tradeglaze group managing director Jeremy Wetherall says, “This investment signals our commitment to providing our customers with the highest quality aluminium products for their architectural projects. The new Emmegi machine offers several key benefits, including remote and computer optimised operation, which will help reduce error and waste as well as providing additional safety measures.”
Daniel Dickson, Aluminium Manager at Tradeglaze, further elaborates on the advantages of the new machine. “The Emmegi is a game-changer for our aluminium production process. It delivers increased accuracy, reducing scrap and cycle times, while its machining cycle is optimised for maximum efficiency. This translates to faster turnaround times and ultimately better service for our customers.”
The use of aluminium systems in trade and commercial projects is increasing year on year. Aluminium is lightweight, resistant to corrosion, exceptionally strong and durable. It is 100% recyclable and the quality of recycled aluminium is identical to that of virgin aluminium. There has been a significant amount of innovation in aluminium system design in recent years which led to Tradeglaze investing in a brand new CNC aluminium machining centre in 2023. The purchase of the Emmegi double mitre saw this month is part of the group’s ambitious growth plan that includes investment in product development, safety protocols, professional development and comprehensive staff training for the company’s teams.
Jeremy Wetherall continues, “We understand the importance of planning for the long term and developing in all areas of the business. Ultimately, this allows us to continue to provide our trade, commercial and domestic customers with exceptional quality double glazing and a five-star service our group of companies are well known and recommended for.”
