Tradeglaze Employee Crowned Rising Star of the Year in 2022 Lincolnshire Business Excellence Awards

Lincoln-based fabricator of windows, doors, conservatories and curtain walling Tradeglaze are delighted to share that their management Board member Jonathan Brewer scooped the ‘Rising Star of the Year’ award at the 2022 Lincolnshire Business Excellence Awards.

The event is hosted by a local news outlet The Lincolnite in partnership with the University of Lincoln and brings together organisations from around the county to celebrate key players with vision, innovation and support for the county’s growth and development.

The black-tie dinner welcomed almost 300 guests at the Engine Shed in Lincoln on 26th May to celebrate business achievements and give out awards in 11 categories. The evening was hosted by Lincoln actor Colin McFarlane. The ‘Rising Star of the Year’ category recognises individuals in the county who have made an impressive progress in their career and constantly strive for innovation and excellence.

A recent graduate from Lincoln Law School at the University of Lincoln, Jonathan joined Tradeglaze in August 2019 as Trade Sales Representative. He grew his sales at a phenomenal speed and was promoted to Board member in May 2020, making him at 28 years of age the youngest senior manager in the company. He is a team player of the highest acumen who is well respected by his colleagues, be it in the factory or the Boardroom.

Jonathan said: “What a great evening at the 2022 Lincolnshire Business Excellence Awards! Thank you to The Lincolnite and the University of Lincoln for organising such an impressive event. I was proud to win another award for Tradeglaze after a very successful couple of years for us. I couldn’t do it without every one of the team!”

This well-earned accolade comes on the back of Jonathan’s ’30 Under 30′ award which he earned at the industry’s leading event FIT Show last month.

Jeremy Wetherall, Managing Director at Tradeglaze commented: “This is another prestigious local accolade for us and we could not be more proud of Jonathan and the whole Tradeglaze team who have worked harder than ever through the challenging trading conditions of the last 12 months.”

“Tradeglaze is growing at a fast pace and the glazing and fenestration industry is often underrepresented on the local business scene, making it a difficult industry to recruit for. Occasions like the Lincolnshire Business Excellence Awards give us the opportunity to get people talking about the modern, highly professional glazing and fenestration industry and the exciting career opportunities it holds.”
