The EBP to offer new skills and employability programme for Lincoln residents

Lincoln-based social enterprise, The EBP, is set to offer Lincoln residents a new tailored Skills and Employability programme, thanks to Adult Education Budget funding from Lincolnshire County Council.  

Running until July 2021, the programme will include a range of topics covering employability and health and wellbeing, aiming to help participants boost their skills and get back into work.

The programme has been developed with the Lincoln business community is tailored to learners’ needs. The modules hold the IF (Investing in your Future) quality mark and include work experience, digital skills, resilience and introductions to Maths and English, with participants able to choose the courses that interest them the most.

Michelle Allison, Chief Executive of The EBP, commented: “We’re extremely grateful to Lincolnshire County Council for enabling us to reach even more learners in Lincoln. Giving people the skills they need to thrive is something we’re incredibly passionate about and this programme will help to give participants the confidence they need to get back into the workplace.”
