Ongo awarded ‘Excellence in the Community Award’

Ongo has been awarded the prestigious ‘Excellence in the Community Award’ as this year’s Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards, for delivering their promise of reinvesting into local neighbourhoods and making a difference to communities.

The Excellence in the Community Award requires businesses to demonstrate a commitment to its customers and give evidence of being a good neighbour. They must also show they have a proactive plan to engage with anddevelop a sustainable local community.

They were commended for their vast range of work in the community, despite being up against tough competition in the category, including Projekt Renewable and The Attis Arena.

Highlighted within the application was Ongo’s training, employment, financial and mental health support, along with youth mentoring and a host of wellbeing activities.

Last year in total, Ongo delivered £15.15 of social value for every £1 spent.
