Lincolnshire Co-op are supporting local NHS charities

Like everyone else in the country, the Lincolnshire Co-op are incredibly proud of our NHS and want to show all the workers how much we appreciate them. That’s why we’re launching a campaign to raise funds for our local NHS charities.

Donations will be split between:

– United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust Charitable Funds

– The Health Tree Foundation (Northern Lincolnshire & Goole)

– Queen Elizabeth Hospital Trust (Kings Lynn)

The money raised will be spent on items which are not normally provided through the main NHS budgets. All donations are going to make life easier for staff and patients and their loved ones, this includes: staff welfare, training, research and improving the patient environment.

Here’s how you can get involved…

Donate online to these worthy causes through our Virgin Money NHS fundraising page and you’ll be entered into an exclusive prize draw to say thank you.

Win £500 – £250 in vouchers for you and £250 to a charity of your choice,

Every £1 donated will be classed as an entry into the draw – so £5 donation = 5 entries.

The closing date is Saturday 30th May – good luck!

You can donate here

You can also donate at the till at all Lincolnshire Co-op food stores and pharmacies, simply ask when in branch doing your usual shopping or collecting a prescription.

You can use all normal payment methods – and you can even donate your dividend.

In total there’s £4.5m of unspent dividend out there on dividend cards – why not check your balance and see what you could donate!

Just tell our colleagues in store if you’d like to contribute.

Join us on Sunday 24th May at 7pm for an online fundraising quiz  – six rounds of fun!

Why not gather your family and friends online to test your knowledge and see who is victorious?

The quiz will be hosted by some of our amazing colleagues. All we ask in return is a donation to the local NHS charities.

You will be able to join in with the quiz on Sunday 24th May at 7pm either through our Facebook page or our YouTube channel.

Support for other charities

We’re also raising funds for the Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charity, York Hospitals Trust and Wishh Foundation in Hull as we have a number of branches in these locations. If you’d like to donate to these charities, then please do this in branch. Simply ask at the till point.
