Jeff Stelling

Jeff Stelling, presenter of Gillette Soccer Saturday was the compere for the Awards this year. If there was a Best Compere Award on the night, he would have won it!

Jeff is best known for presenting the landmark football show, Soccer Saturday, and football lovers will recognise him from a range of live events on Sky Sports.

He was a great “match” and had the attendees in the palm of his hand as he shared his hilarious anecdotes. Plenty of selfies were taken on the night with the always-friendly Jeff.

The awards also helped raise over £3,000 for our awards chosen charity, YMCA Lincolnshire. Simon Beardsley, CEO of the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, presented Caroline Killeavy, CEO of YMCA Lincolnshire, with a cheque for £3,005.

In order to raise this money on the night, attendees were asked to participate in a hilarious game of Heads or Tails. Many questions were football related, which tripped up some of our guests, but the winner of the game (and recipient of a DoubleTree Bed & Breakfast) voucher was Katie Nesbitt from Waldeck Consulting!

Well done to everyone who got involved – you were all great sports!
