Surveys on food sustainability in Lincolnshire

Surveys on food sustainability in Lincolnshire

The Lincolnshire Open Research and Innovation Centre (LORIC) have opened a survey aimed at Lincolnshire residents and SME farmers on the topic of eco-friendly and sustainable buying and farming.

Participants in the survey can be entered into a prize draw to win a luxury, food and goodie hamper from Ideal Lincs.

The 5-minute anonymous survey asks local residents questions around their buying habits including fresh produce, meat, dairy, and other types of groceries, and whether sustainability is at the forefront of their minds when making their choices.

This will help the LORIC to get a clearer picture of what local people purchase, where from, and whether the sustainability of their choices is at the forefront of their minds.

In a separate survey, Lincolnshire SME farmers are asked to share their experiences on how they sell their produce locally, and whether they would be interested in a service that could see their produce collected and supplied straight to local businesses, schools, universities, and other organisations.

The survey has been curated by the LORIC at Bishop Grosseteste University on behalf of Ideal Lincs, a family-run, Lincolnshire food wholesaler and aims to ascertain local residents’ and farmers’ views on embedding the field to fork message.

The links to the questionnaire are below and both surveys close on June 22nd, 2022.
