Change to our International Trade Documentation Services from 5th November

In light of the tightening of COVID restrictions in England, at the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce we have reviewed our procedures for the collection of certified documentation from our Commerce House office in Lincoln.

With the significant increase in prevalence of the epidemic we want to continue to ensure that the potential exposure to staff, users of the building and members is minimised. Therefore, with the effect from Thursday 5th November we will not be able to offer a collection service.

To allow for the processing of documentation that used to be collected we can offer the Ecert Express service where documents can be printed in your own office, this will involve purchasing blank certificate stocks from us prior (please ask one of the team who will help you set up this facility).

For applications whereby an ink signature is required on the documentation, please can the documentation be posted to the Chamber offices where this will be certified and posted back out to you 1st class. Special Delivery postage is also available, please ask a member of the team on the costings for this.

We understand there might be some emergency cases where a visit cannot be avoided, in such cases we will continue to work with you to try to provide a one off COVID safe solution.

As a result of the pandemic our documentation inspections will be carried out virtually, therefore as a reminder please could you ensure all applications are submitted through the Ecert portal and also that all supporting evidence is uploaded to the portal rather than emailed over separately. Please ask a member of the team for any further guidance on this.

For any questions, contact us via 01522 523333 or email international@lincs-chamber.co.uk
