TALK: Effects of Sustainable Design on Property Values

This talk is part of the Build for the Future: East Midlands event, which is FREE to attend!

Sustainability is becoming a conventional issue not just in business but across every walk of life.

As the Property sector seeks to reduce their carbon emissions, capturing the value of sustainability has always created challenges, however as part of the Government’s ambitious plans to become net zero by 2050, businesses of all shapes, sizes and sectors all have their part to play in this.

The benefits of sustainable properties are clear from an environmental perspective, but what about the financial benefits?

Here we will be joined by Director of Newton Fallowell Estate Agents, Rebecca Hoyles who will be discussing the effects sustainable design have on property values, now and in the future, as well as her thoughts on buyer behaviour and views on educating the buying public on understanding why there is a value in sustainable design.

About Rebecca

Rebecca Hoyles is a Director of Newton Fallowell Estate Agents in Lincoln with nearly 18 years’ experience in dealing with both residential sales and lettings. Specialising in the valuing and listing of properties, Rebecca is involved in all the key steps of putting a property onto the market and particularly loves the photography aspect, creating the marketing materials and showcasing properties to their best potential.

Over the last five years Newton Fallowell Lincoln has acquired several other lettings businesses and has grown the team and expanded into two city offices with a student rental department.

Rebecca has dealt with various builders, new home sites and eco homes during the course of her career and is excited to see where the industry and the design of new homes will progress to in the future.
