ChamberConnect: Know Thyself – The Art of Self-leadership

ChamberConnect is a series of interactive virtual events which have been designed to support businesses and their staff through the current Coronavirus crisis. Funded by Collaboration 4 Growth (C4G)

These events will allow you to learn, ask questions and stay up-to-date on a variety of topics which will be affecting your business at such an uncertain time.

Know Thyself: the art of self-leadership and the relevance of purpose and meaning in business life and the business of life.

Sean Barkes of Refinity Coaching will raise important questions that encourage the search for ways in which the financial imperative of making a profit and the very human drive towards meaning and purpose can both be satisfied.

Who is this workshop for?

Leaders, managers and individuals who suspect that there may be better ways to make a decent living whilst also satisfying everyone’s higher human needs.

The following concepts and ideas will be addressed, amongst others:

– how attending to purpose, meaning and self-mastery at an organisational level can deliver mutual benefits to business owners and employees that are both commercially sensible and lead to sustainable fulfilment at work for all the team;

– what science has to say about the relationship between finding meaning, human motivation, health, productivity and creativity;

– human performance and the role of unconscious assumptions, faulty thinking and habits;

– the inverse relationship between employee engagement and management effort;

– the move towards whole mind thinking;

– the importance of coaching relationships in the workplace –  coaching is not just for the realm of coaches;

– plus much more!

Sean Barkes – Refinity Coaching

Sean helps business leaders, senior managers and other aspirational individuals make higher quality decisions, with more clarity, by challenging their unconscious assumptions and thought processes.

He helps people gain clarity of vision, translate that vision into specific goals, plan a pathway for their achievement and support them all the way along that pathway.

This webinar is part of our Leadership & Wellbeing Hub, which helps Lincolnshire bring staff wellbeing more to the forefront of business leaders’ minds.

Sean is available for FREE one-hour 1:1 sessions by filling out the form here.
