Duncan & Toplis Legal Services has promoted Amy Codd to head of legal services, strengthening its board of directors

Amy is the current head of the private client team and will now oversee the whole legal team, acting as the main point of contact for directors in all of the firm’s service lines – including corporate law and property law.

Building on the firm’s relationship with the Duncan & Toplis group, Amy will be working to bolster Duncan & Toplis Legal Services by expanding into new sectors and broadening the firm’s full-service offering.

Amy’s promotion comes at a time of ambitious growth for the firm, with plans to grow into areas such as employment law, residential property and trusts.

Speaking of her promotion, Amy said: “I’m thrilled to be taking on the role of head of legal services and I’m really excited about the future. When I joined the firm five years ago, I was the only solicitor. We now have seven solicitors and 15 members of staff, and I’ve loved being on this journey of growth with the company.

“We work closely with the Duncan & Toplis group to provide a full-service offering for our clients – meaning they have access to tax and legal advice all in one place. My ambition is to build on this and provide them with an even greater variety of legal services, becoming a leader in the legal sector in Lincolnshire.

“What’s more, I’m looking forward to building a really positive future for my colleagues. We have a very strong culture, with a collaborative and supportive environment, and my priority will be to make sure everybody continues to have the ability to grow and succeed.”

Damon Brain, CEO of the Duncan & Toplis group, added: “It’s fantastic to see Amy’s progression to head of legal services and we welcome the expertise she will bring.

“Amy has extensive experience of client management, budgets, planning and objective setting – as well as her drive to continually improve our offering. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for the firm under her leadership.”
