Could your business become part of the HS2 supply chain?

Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce have partnered with HS2 to offer local businesses the chance to speak directly with HS2 representatives to explore opportunities within the supply chain.

Taking place at Lincoln City Football Club’s Legends Lounge on 26th March 2020 from 10am until 1pm, delegates will be hear from expert speakers, take part in a Q&A session and network with HS2 representatives and other attendees.

Speakers confirmed are; Robert Slater, Supply Chain Manager, and Dale Cox, Supply Chain Analyst from HS2, Kenneth Bamford, Senior Adviser at ACAS, a case study presented by Robert Crowder from Crowders Nurseries, Sarah Spink, Stakeholder Management Lead from Midlands Connect and our headline sponsor, Business Lincolnshire.

The event will raise awareness of the supplier opportunities that HS2 will bring and dismiss some of the myths to ensure businesses in our area, including SMEs, can align and prepare themselves to be part of the supply chain.

Simon Beardsley, Chief Executive of Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “This event is a unique opportunity to expand the reach of Lincolnshire businesses in enormous ways.

“Delegates will be given an exclusive chance to be part of what is arguably one of the biggest and most innovative projects we have recently seen in Britain. Now is the time to get involved!”

Currently over 2,000 firms across the UK have contracts with HS2, 70% of them SMEs and 98% of them British.

Places are free for Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce members and only £18.00 for non-members, book your place here.
