Expanding accountancy firm announced the appointment of tax specialist Antony Voakes.

Antony has joined the firm, which has a team of more than 100 people, as an Associate Director.

“I’m passionate about working closely with clients, particularly owner-managed and family firms, where you get to understand a firm’s DNA and talk to its key players.

“It is also a real privilege to work with business owners and directors facing big life changes, such as exiting a business or helping them to plan for a tax efficient succession be that family or management team.

Antony also advises companies on tax-efficient ways of incentivising their staff, by way of seasonal gifts, the use of a company car or employee share schemes.

He and his wife Amanda, who is ’ Head of Private Client Services, have two children – Isla (four) and Oscar (two) and a much-loved black Labrador, called Rosie. Antony also has a daughter Lucy (14) from a previous relationship.
