Cyber Crime and Scams Survey

Cyber Crime and Scams Survey

National Crime Agency figures indicate that UK businesses lost £140m as a result of fraud in 2017 alone.

Marc Jones, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Lincolnshire, has launched an online survey to investigate where and how residents and businesses across the county have been affected or targeted by scams or fraudsters.

In its simplest form, cyber crime is any offence which is conducted through, or enabled by, the use of technology. Marc Jones and the Lincolnshire Police are committed to combating and preventing cyber crime, scams or fraud perpetrated against residents, businesses and public bodies in our community.

Through a deeper and up-to-date understanding of the problem, Lincolnshire Police will be better prepared to combat the criminals.

The survey takes just ten minutes to complete – why not help make Lincolnshire a safer place to live and work.
