Phillips 66 give generously to the dogs this Christmas

The local Humber refinery owned by Phillips 66 have kindly donated much needed food, toys and treats to the rescue dogs waiting for their forever homes this Christmas at Jerry Green Dog Rescue.

Sharon Jarvis, Financial Analyst & Charity Team Volunteer for Phillips 66 Humber Refinery said: “We enjoy giving back to the communities that our staff live and work in. So every year we hold a Christmas giving campaign for our employees to pick a number of charities close to their hearts to donate to.”

Sharon continued: “Jerry Green Dog Rescue is a local charity to our Humberside base so our employees have decided to show their appreciation for all of the fantastic work the staff and their amazing volunteers do with this donation. We’re over the moon to make a small difference to the charity and we hope it will help towards finding the dogs in their care lifelong homes.”

The items donated will support the charities centres in North Lincolnshire, South Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire.

Samantha Weston, Deputy Centre Manager for the North Lincolnshire centre said: “We really appreciate the support from businesses like Phillips 66 at this time of year as without their kind donations we couldn’t do what we do. Thank you to all of the employees at Phillips 66 – your donation means the world.”
