The LEP Board is Looking for New Leaders

Could you share your business experience and expertise and help to shape the future of the Greater Lincolnshire economy?

The Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership is looking for experts and leaders as it fills vacancies on its Board of Directors and creates a new Energy Council to promote energy transformation in Greater Lincolnshire.

The vacancies on the Board of Directors would suit dynamic and experienced business leaders who live or work in Greater Lincolnshire, particularly those with expertise in manufacturing, energy, defence or finance.

The LEP is also looking for strategic energy leaders to join its new Energy Council, which has been formed to promote energy transformation in Greater Lincolnshire.

The role of the council will be to implement the recommendations outlined in the LEP’s Energy Strategy for Greater Lincolnshire.

Energy leaders who join the council will act as ambassadors for the industry, take the lead on strategy for the sector, and give focus to the delivery of the LEP’s Local Industrial Strategy energy policy direction.

The LEP is working towards becoming a net zero carbon region by 2050. It aims to achieve this by becoming a test bed for the development of new energy models to unlock housing and employment growth and linking this with transportation, digitalisation, and data communications while also addressing local capacity constraints.

The deadline to apply for the above roles is Thursday 31st October 2019. If you are interested in applying please send your CV and a covering letter to sue.groves@lincolnshire.gov.uk.

For an informal discussion about the roles call Kate Storey on 01522 550540 (Board of Directors) or Andrew Brooks on 01522 550631 (Energy Council).

Applications are strongly encouraged from women business leaders as the LEP seeks to achieve balance and diversity throughout its organisation.
