Martin Smith Opticians shortlisted for national industry award

Martin Smith Opticians in Lincoln have been announced as finalists in three categories for the prestigious industry awards, run by The Association of Optometrists (AOP).

The three categories they have been shortlisted for are:

• Optometrist of the Year - Dr Martin Smith BSc DOptom DipTp(IP Prof Cert Glauc MCOptom)
• Practice of the Year – Martin Smith Opticians
• Dispensing Optician of the Year - Sue Edwards BSc FBDO

Sue Edwards, Practice Manager, said: “It is such an amazing achievement to be a finalist and Dr Smith won in 2015, but as a single practice it is so difficult to compete against some of the larger organisations.”
