Wright Vigar Raises Important Funds for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance at Charity Golf Day

Wright Vigar are delighted to announce the success of its annual charity golf day, held on 16 June at Market Rasen Golf club. The event raised over £1000 in support of Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.

The Wright Vigar Annual Charity Golf Day brought together local businesses and clients for a day of friendly competition and fundraising. Throughout the day, participants enjoyed an exciting round of golf, engaging in friendly competition and networking opportunities. The event was further enhanced by a range of activities, including straightest drive, nearest the pin and a yellow ball on-course challenge providing ample opportunities for individuals and businesses to donate and support the cause.

It was a close-run event again this year with a joint Ringrose & Wright Vigar team taking home 1st prize on 90 points. Well done to, John Knight, Ryan Clarke, David Thompson and Paul Colcomb. Other prizes went to Wilkin Chapman for the highest score with the yellow ball, Richard Bussell who was closest to the pin on the tough par 3 12th hole and Steven Butroid for the straightest drive down the 6th fairway, just 9cm away from the line.

“We are thrilled to have hosted another successful charity golf day and we are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support and contributions from our participants” said James Sewell, Director at Wright Vigar. “At Wright Vigar, we firmly believe in giving back to our community and supporting causes that make a difference. The funds raised will go a long way in supporting the impactful work of the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and helping them achieve their mission.”

LNAA is renowned for its outstanding work in providing pre-hospital critical care to the people of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. The funds raised will aid their ongoing efforts to help to keep our crew responding day and night to some of the most serious incidents in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

Wright Vigar would like to express heartfelt appreciation to all the individuals and businesses who participated in the event. Its success was only made possible by the unwavering support and generosity of our participants who came together to support a great cause.
