Wright Vigar Charity Golf Day in Nottingham to Support Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance

Golfers, sponsors, and businesses came together on 14 July at Ramsdale Park Golf Centre for a thrilling and successful charity golf day, raising funds for the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance (LNAA). The event, organised by Wright Vigar, witnessed incredible displays of skill and generosity, making a significant impact on the charity’s lifesaving mission.

Despite the challenging weather conditions, the unwavering spirit of the participants prevailed, showcasing their determination to support the cause. The day saw fierce competition and impressive performances, with JCH Investments emerging as the victorious team.

In addition to the main competition, Fosse Contracts won the yellow ball competition with an impressive 39 points and an incredible five participants managed to beat the pro, demonstrating the impressive skill level of the golfers present. Finally, the Straightest Drive title was claimed by the talented Charles Daysh, who also achieved the remarkable feat of hitting a hole in one on the 11th hole – a moment that will not be forgotten.

The highlight of the charity golf day, however, goes beyond the thrilling competition; it lies in the generosity of all those who participated. Thanks to the collective efforts and contributions of the sponsors and attendees, the event successfully raised an outstanding £1000 for the LNAA, reaching and surpassing the fundraising target set by Wright Vigar. This significant amount will directly support the LNAA’s life-saving missions and provide critical assistance to those in urgent need.
