Stirlin Appointed to Deliver New Specialist Education Project for Kedleston Group in High Peak

Lincoln-based construction contractor, Stirlin, is delighted to announce its appointment by valued client, Kedleston Group, to deliver a new specialist education refurbishment project at High Peak School. The project will see the transformation of part of the old residential school accommodation facilities to support the expansion of specialist educational provision, creating a modern, inclusive learning environment tailored to the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Works will involve the refurbishment and reconfiguration of part of the building that had previously been used as accommodation for children placed on a residential basis, including internal demolition and strip-out works, followed by a comprehensive fit-out programme. The completed scheme will provide a range of enhanced specialist teaching facilities, including food technology, art and IT classrooms, alongside larger teaching spaces and improved welfare areas designed specifically to support children with additional educational needs. The project will also incorporate modern teaching technologies, including media walls and interactive screens, creating engaging and accessible learning environments for both pupils and staff. The refurbishment project will play a key role in supporting the school's continued growth and commitment to providing exceptional specialist education.
