Read MoreOngo has launched a brand new way of finding a home with them, as part of their promise to let properties quickly, remove barriers and provide an online service for customers.
My Move is an online platform through Ongo’s website, which will allow users to browse homes, apply filters, register for alerts, fill out applications and bid for suitable properties.
Ongo will also be using Rightmove to advertise their homes as part of the new process, with each linking through to My Move to fill out applications.
It has been developed to be more inclusive, and it’s hoped that by introducing a new way of advertising, those who hadn’t previously considered Ongo as a landlord will become familiar with their services.
Around half of Ongo’s homes will be advertised using My Move, with the other half remaining on local authority choice based letting systems. The main one being Home Choice Lincs.
Jane Crookes, Head of Lettings at Ongo said: “We’re delighted to finally launch My Move. It feels like the right step to be more in line with our digital commitments, and one our customers would expect.
“Housing need will still be the main consideration when allocating properties, but we’re excited to open doors to more people who may have not heard of us before.”
On average, Ongo advertise and hand over keys to around 80 properties each month. However, they have an ambitious development strategy and are hoping to offer even more properties going forward.
