Ongo’s 2021/22 Annual Report is live

Performance information and achievements for Ongo for 2021-22 are now available to view in their Annual Report.

Highlights for the year include maintaining their 100% record in completing gas safety checks in their homes, spending over £6million on improving their existing stock and investing over £1million in community projects and initiatives to support local people.

Steve Hepworth, Chief Exec, said: “Over the last 12 months, we’ve seen a lot of positives across the organisation including opening Myos House our Dementia care scheme, investing £1.9million at our Market Hill estate in Scunthorpe to replace roofs and upgrade fire doors and supporting almost 1,000 people with employment support.

“Reflecting back over the last year is a great opportunity to look at what has gone well for us, but also the areas we can improve. By working closely with our tenants, we’re able to understand the areas and services that really matter to them, and how we can be an even better landlord.

“Looking ahead, we will work on our environmental work and how we can do our bit for the planet. A huge focus for us will of course be around the cost-of-living crisis and how we can best support our tenants through a difficult time.”

Ongo has three key areas of focus – to be a great landlord, to offer quality homes and to create opportunities. They measure their performance in each of these areas to ensure they’re constantly improving and providing the services that are needed in the local area.

Ongo’s 2021/22 journey in numbers:

27,231 repairs jobs carried out
219 new homes

£667,342 additional external funding secured for community initiatives
