Ongo raise £200 for the Health Tree Foundation

Ongo recently held a 5km challenge and for every staff member that completed a 5km walk, jog or run and sent a picture, Ongo donated £5 to the Health Tree Foundation.

The challenge aimed to encourage staff from across the business to get active and support a great cause.

Maureen Mathieson, Organisational Development Manager at Ongo, said, “The money our staff have raised will help the local community in the best way possible. It’s great that lots of you got involved and walked, jogged and ran 5km to help use support a local good cause. Thank you to everyone that got involved.”

Clare Woodard, Charity Manager for the Health Tree Foundation said: “We are so grateful to the brilliant staff at Ongo who took part in the 5K challenge to raise funds for the Health Tree Foundation.

We will put their generous gift to immediate and effective use throughout the hospital, helping patients and families during this really difficult time. Knowing we have local organisations such as Ongo to support us means the world to us and with their help we will continue to support our local communities.

“Thanks again to everyone who ran, jogged and walked in aid of the Health Tree Foundation – you are all Health Tree Heroes.”

The Health Tree Foundation works in partnership with Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. They provide acute hospital and community services to over 350,000 people in our local areas.
