Duncan & Toplis is pleased to announce that Nicholas Smith has stepped into the role of Head of Tax, effective 20 April 2026. Nicholas brings extensive experience advising businesses and individuals across a broad range of tax matters. In his new role, he will lead the business’ tax service line, working with a well-established team to deliver commercially focused advice that supports clients in managing their tax position with confidence. The tax team at Duncan & Toplis provides specialist support across private client services, corporate tax, restructuring, inheritance tax planning, R&D tax relief and international tax matters. Nicholas will work closely with colleagues across the business to further strengthen this offering and continue to support organisations and individuals through an increasingly complex tax environment.
