Ongo celebrates community partnership with Doncaster Rovers

Ongo proudly stepped into the spotlight as match sponsor for the Doncaster Rovers vs Bradford City fixture last weekend, marking another milestone in its partnership with the club. Ongo Board members were invited to attend the match and enjoy a behind-the-scenes stadium tour. Our new Chair, Des Hudson, together with Board members John Wright and Matt Sugden all attended the event. Marianne Sonksen, who is a member of our Customer Focus Committee as well as an Ongo tenant, also enjoyed the day. For Marianne, the day held special significance: “It was my first ever football stadium visit in my life, so this event was very exciting. I enjoyed meeting everyone, I only joined Ongo in May and don’t know many people yet. It was my 66th birthday treat as well.” The match sponsorship is part of Ongo’s broader commitment to the club and local community. Following a phenomenal 2024/25 season, where over 70 Ongo tenants and customers accessed opportunities including free tickets, VIP days, stadium tours, and a ‘Moment of Magic’ - the club also celebrated promotion to League One. Through this ongoing partnership, Ongo will continue to offer these initiatives to people of all ages, reinforcing its dedication to investing in local communities and putting customers at the heart of everything it does.
