New apartments in Scunthorpe coming soon

New apartments in Scunthorpe coming soon

Those looking for a brand new one-bedroom apartment in the area are in luck, as 12 are currently under construction in Scunthorpe.

The homes will all be available for affordable rent and be finished to a high quality standard, with an added parking court and electric vehicle charging points. Ground floor apartments will also be level access, and be complete with wet rooms.

Situated on Queensway/Bellingham Rd, Scunthorpe, they are close to a busy retail park, motorway links and the town centre, and are expected to be extremely popular with those looking for their first home or to downsize.

Amy Schoenmaker, Development Project Manager at Ongo said: “This project is really exciting as it’s very different to others we have going on at the moment, and brings something new and fresh to the market.

“Because everything is brand new, the homes are perfect for those just starting out, or those that want to move into a smaller place, with less maintenance. They offer a more affordable route too.

“The build is coming together really quick and it’s great to see how much progress is being made, we can’t wait to see them finished.”

G.S Kelsey have been appointed as the lead contractors on this site, with completion date set to be around Christmas time this year.
