Brand new event Lincsfest launches at Lincolnshire Showground this summer

A new exciting and interactive family event, LincsFest is coming to the Lincolnshire Showground on Sunday 15 August 2021 which promises a fun day out for all ages.

Celebrating all things Lincolnshire, this event will showcase the very best locally sourced food and drink, spectacular performances, traditional fairground rides, attractions and much more.

LincsFest will feature performances from the thrilling BMX Show, crowd favourite Dog & Duck Show, the Lincolnshire Police Dog School and the amazing Sheep Roadshow.

Families can head over to the Countryside & Wildlife Zone where they will visit the Hedgehog Hospital and watch wood carving demonstrations.  Or visit the Village Green where visitors can test their circus skills and have a go at some traditional village games whilst listening to live performances from singer songwriter Matty Haynes and saxophone and cello musician, Stephen Donoghue.

Jayne Southall, CEO of the Lincolnshire Showground, said:

“We can’t wait to welcome visitors back to the Showground this Summer for our celebration of Lincolnshire at LincsFest. The day really has something for everyone and will showcase some of the best local exhibitors and amazing activities that the Lincolnshire countryside has to offer.”

Foodies can enjoy delicious local street food including freshly made pizza, burgers, crepes and toasties or visit the indoor food and craft market to pick up some treats to take home.

There will be animals from Rand Farm Park and poultry, rabbits and guinea pigs to see over in the Farmyard Zone. Plus, an inflatable climbing wall, rugby sessions and exercise classes to get involved with over in the Sports Zone.

With dozens of attractions to entertain all ages throughout the day, enjoy Summer at the Showground with the whole family.

Lincs Fest is being planned with the current government guidelines in mind and will be amended accordingly following any changes.
