The Lincoln Tea and Coffee Company is among the Great Taste winners of 2018

Great Taste, the world’s most coveted food awards, which celebrates the very best in food and drink, has announced the Great Taste stars of 2018. Out of over 12,600 products to be judged, The Lincoln Tea and Coffee Company was awarded a 1-star Great Taste award for all three products entered,  which means judges dubbed it as tea and coffee that delivers fantastic flavour.

• Sweet Brazil Blend commenting on its character - a little fruit and nut and some chocolate in there too. Well balanced with a hint of acidity on the finish.
• Lincolnshire Tea Loose Leaf Blend - the infusion is bright, with character and distinct flavour.
• Lincolnshire Tea Paper Tea Bags - Fresh and alive, bright with colour with some briskness - a good, fresh tea.

The Lincoln Tea and Coffee Company explains: We are so pleased to have received these awards for our products. These are products we feel so passionate about and it is so rewarding for a panel of expert tasters to also recognise the high quality we stand for. Being able to include the Great Taste gold star to our products helps us to demonstrate who we are and we hope our customers are proud to show them off too. 

Recognised as a stamp of excellence among consumers and retailers alike, Great Taste values taste above all else, with no regard for branding and packaging. Whether it is vinegar, granola, bacon or cheese being judged, all products are removed from their wrapper, jar, box or bottle before being tasted. The judges then savour, confer and re-taste to decide which products are worthy of an award.
