Legal rising stars qualify at Roythornes

Four talented new solicitors have qualified at leading law firm, Roythornes Solicitors, following the successful completion of their training contracts.

Emily Wright, Rebecca Ironmonger, Shola Khan, and Naomi McFadden join Roythornes’ cohort of legal experts across its corporate and commercial, litigation, and private client teams.

The rising stars each completed three placements in different specialisms before being offered the role of solicitor at the top 200 law firm.

Naomi, who secured a training contract with Roythornes after graduating from the University of Liverpool, will join the Nottingham office. She said: “I am delighted to have completed my training contract and qualified into the Nottingham private client team.

“The Roythornes team have been supportive throughout my training and I had the privilege of working with real experts in their field in each of my seats. I was given responsibility from the very start and all of my colleagues really invested their time and expertise in providing me with top class training.”

Emily takes on her newly qualified role at Roythornes Solicitors after successfully completing her LPC at BPP University Law School, Cambridge and working at a top law firm in Malaysia. She re-joins the corporate and commercial team after working with them as a paralegal before commencing her training contract. Emily said: “It has been a long road to qualification, and I am very proud of the achievement.

“I would not be the solicitor I am today without the support and encouragement of my fantastic team and I feel very privileged to have worked alongside some excellent lawyers during my training. I’m very excited to be taking the next step in my legal career and am looking forward to contributing to the success of the firm that has supported me so well over the last few years.”

Vember Mortlock, managing director at Roythornes Solicitors, added: “We’re so pleased to be bolstering our team of legal professionals with four newly qualified solicitors. We were very impressed with all the trainees and would like to congratulate them on reaching this exciting milestone.

“Like most businesses this has been a testing time. However, our end of year results were very positive thanks to the hard work of our staff and even in these strange times the business is in good stead. Our ambitious growth plans remain undeterred. Post lockdown we’re delighted to be in a position to take on Emily, Rebecca, Shola and Naomi and wish each of them well as they step up into the next stage of their careers.”
