Top rankings retained despite pandemic challenges for Langleys Solicitors

Lincoln-based law firm Langleys has had an impressive year in the Chambers and Partners rankings as well as receiving various commendations in the Legal 500 directory.

The Chambers and Partners rankings see the teams in Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Clinical Negligence and Family and Matrimonial retain their positions in Band 1 for the fourth consecutive year, showing that the quality of Langleys’ service has continued despite the challenges of the past 18 months.

A number of individuals have also achieved top rankings, either maintaining or improving on their position on the Chambers list.

Francoise Vandale, head of the Agricultural team, Andrew Cragg, head of Medical Negligence and Personal Injury, and John Conlon, a specialist in Family Law, have all remained in Band 1 for the second year in a row.

Langleys partner, Emma Lawler, in the Family Law team, has moved up to Band 1 and is recognised by her clients as ‘always being there for them’. She is also commended on her knowledge and experience.

The Chambers success follows the Legal 500 rankings, which have recently been published. The firm has acquired an impressive eight rankings overall for varying practice areas.

Family and Private Client in Agriculture and Estates were awarded Band 1 rankings. Commercial Litigation, Personal injury and Clinical Negligence and Personal Tax teams have all earned a Band 2 ranking. Further rankings include Commercial Property, Corporate and Commercial and Insolvency.
