Golfing fundraising success raises £8,700 for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance

On Tuesday 2nd August, a staggering 41 teams competed in the Blankney Golf Club Annual Charity Golf AM AM fundraiser for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. As a result, the day raised a staggering £8,700 for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

Jo Middleton, one of the organisers said: “We couldn’t raise so much without the fantastic generosity from so many companies and friends who supported the day in some way. From corporate sponsorship to donating raffle prizes to preparing home made teas.

We thank the Air Ambulance volunteers and all our friends who came to help us set up and help on the day.

Katherine Wright, Community Fundraiser for LNAA said: ‘We are so grateful for the committee for once again hosting this fantastic event! We know how much work goes in to making this Golf Day such a success.

We would like to say a big well done and congratulations to all involved. The £8,700 will help greatly towards the vital funding of our service which costs approximately £8 million per year to keep the helicopter and Critical Care Car operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Thank you for supporting us.”
