Chantelle Oldaker, who lives in Barton and regularly attends Viking Centre events commented: “At the moment we are all feeling the pinch, which means fun things can go to the bottom of the list.
“We’re all so grateful to the team at Ongo for putting on such fantastic free events for us to enjoy, and for making sure local kids don’t miss out.
“I am especially looking forward to the disco, it’s always well attended and well organised. The team always go all out on the decorations and some of the costumes are just great.”
The next few months for The Viking Centre and The Arc are set to be busy with winter warmer campaigns to support those struggling to heat their home, youth activities and ongoing support, along with planning for Christmas under way.
Grace Woolley, Viking Centre Coordinator said: “We can’t wait for all of these upcoming events, it’s all so worthwhile to put a smile on people’s faces.
“You can expect lots more from us over the coming months, so keep an eye out for more announcements and if you live in the area, make sure you come along and get involved.”
Some activities require a booking and are set to be very popular, so if you’re interested please get in touch with the team.
