Lincolnshire Chamber invites businesses to 5-a-side football tournament
Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce its very first five-a-side football tournament, taking place on Thursday 23rd September at Lincoln City FC’s ground.
Lincolnshire businesspeople are encouraged to sign up as teams of five or individually to be part of this exciting new event.
This is a chance for your business to get involved and take part in friendly competition with other local businesses and is also the perfect team building opportunity and chance to network in a fun setting.
Charlotte Watson, Head of PR, Marketing, Comms and Policy at Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “After nearly a year and half without physical networking events and such an exciting Euro 2020, we want to combine the passion for the sport with the chance to catch up with one another.
“Players will be given the unmissable opportunity to experience our patron Lincoln City FC’s grounds from a new perspective and support their local community.
“There will also be a raffle on the day to raise money for our Charity of the Year, the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, who solely rely on donations and fundraising to continue their life-saving work.
“We look forward to seeing everyone in their football kits on 23d September, ready to take on the challenge!”
The event will be played in a round robin (Champion’s League) style format with teams playing in groups of 4, with quarter finals, semi-finals and the two winning teams going head-to-head in the final match.
Trophies will be given to the winning team, runner up and (wo)man of the match.
There will be a delicious buffet waiting for you after the finals have been played, as well as refreshments during the day to keep you hydrated and energised.
Individual places can be booked from just £35 + VAT and teams of five can be booked from just £200 + VAT.
