University of Lincoln: Twenty First Century Workshop – Grimsby

University of Lincoln presents: A unique, fully-funded opportunity to enhance your employees’ technical skills, highlight hidden talent and build confidence within your teams.

This dynamic and interactive workshop is for businesses in North East Lincolnshire and Coastal Areas only. It has been designed to develop the digital, tech and engineering abilities of our region’s workforce.

With thanks to Ørsted UK’s East Coast Community Fund

Who is Eligible?
The workshop is on offer to fifty employees within the North East Lincolnshire and Coastal Region, who are in low-skilled roles and may benefit from an opportunity to develop their technical skills and progress within your business.

What format will the training take?
The workshop will require one full day of your employees’ time and will consist of a number of interactive activities. A further three-hours of follow-up mentoring will take place after the event.

What qualifications will the participants receive?
Although your delegates will not gain an academic qualification, they will receive a University of Lincoln “skills passport” to highlight their strengths, as well as signposting to future training and educational opportunities.

How much will attending the workshop cost?
The University of Lincoln is pleased to offer this training free of charge, in collaboration with Ørsted UK’s East Coast Community Fund.

What’s in it for the participants?
The workshop will bring together a diverse group of employees from across our region, offering opportunities to connect and learn from one another. Engaging activities focussing on technical, digital and engineering abilities will highlight and improve each participant’s skills, helping them to grow in confidence and realise new career goals.

What’s in it for your company?
By investing time in your staff’s development, you’ll encourage a positive culture of lifelong learning. In turn, this could lead to improved staff retention and internal progression. Our aim is to draw attention to hidden skills within your teams.

Will there be any follow-up work?
Participants will each receive a 3-hour group coaching session after the workshop. This will be tailored to their specific needs and the opportunities available to progress and add further value to your business.

What’s next?
We’d be delighted to discuss the opportunity in more detail with you over the phone or at a time and place which suits you. Just get in touch using the details below to express your interest!
