Crispin Read is the Founder and CEO of The Coders Guild, a pioneering organisation in the tech education sector dedicated to expanding access to high-quality digital skills training across the UK.

With over 20 years of experience in software development, Crispin has led initiatives that bridge the digital skills gap, including the creation of the Software Developer Level 4 Apprenticeship.

“We focus on discovering and developing future tech leaders from the UK’s underrepresented groups.

We offer cutting-edge training, upskilling, and continuous professional development (CPD), leveraging government funding to support SMEs. Our industry-led training is created and delivered by expert professionals, ensuring practical and relevant learning.”

Passionate about building an inclusive and diverse tech industry, Crispin champions innovative apprenticeships and training programmes that offer sustainable pathways into technology for individuals from underrepresented backgrounds.

Lucy Parkinson is an experienced sales professional with experience across Education,Recruitment, FMCG and Property in Asia, the US and the UK.

“I thrive on building relationships and partnerships with clients and customers.

I collaborate closely with businesses who are eager to empower their teams with in-demand digital skills.”

As an Employer Engagement officer at The Coders Guild, Lucy specialises in forging dynamic partnerships between forward thinking companies and innovative training programs and helping companies upskill their teams with government funding.
