Create Impressive Images with your Smartphone Workshop
ChamberConnect is a series of interactive virtual events to help you bounce back stronger by upskilling your people – from senior management to junior staff. Funded by Collaboration 4 Growth (C4G)
This workshop covers all the basics needed to use a camera-phone competently and creatively for online platforms.
The workshop will cover:
- What you can expect to achieve using just a phone – and its limitations.
- Composition essentials, how to tell a ‘story’ in a single frame.
- Controlling your exposure and using your camera’s best features.
- Simple Portraits, how to achieve a good head & shoulders shot, essential for staff profiles and reports etc.
- Basic Lighting equipment – why this could help and how best to control it.
- Shooting small products in a workshop/craft or production environment – how to show your arts & crafts, cakes/food, small products in a well-lit, three-dimensional way using only what you have to hand.
Presented by Line & Light Photographic Training.
There will be a fully illustrated lecture plus a few hands-on break out exercises for shooting practice, ensuring everyone leaves with camera confidence and a plan for shooting their products, staff, and events for successful marketing.
The workshop will include FREE refreshments throughout the morning.

This is a FREE workshop for all businesses, however priority will be given to those businesses in the eligible Collaboration 4 Growth areas of West Lindsey, City of Lincoln and North Kesteven.
Only businesses who are both operating and registered within Lincoln, North Kesteven and West Lindsey are eligible to receive up to 12 hours of business support at no cost thanks to the project funding from the European Regional Development Fund.
