Mental Health Training: Line Managers and HR – March

This course is aimed at anyone working within a Line Manager or HR role. Presented by Samantha Kendall of Kendall Training.

The mental health and wellbeing of everyone has been tested during the last two years. It has always been important to look after your staff’s health, but it has never been quite so apparent until now!

The topics covered on this digital course will give you an understanding on how to support someone with mental ill health and also how to recognise the early warning signs.

This workshop is split into two parts, so you will be required to attend both days.

Tuesday 8th March 1pm – 3pm
Friday 11th March 1pm – 3pm

Once you have registered, you will receive a Zoom invite email which will contain the meeting link you can use for both days.

  • Identifying the early warning signs of mental ill health and talking at an early stage
  • Non judgemental listening
  • The relationship between work and mental health and wellbeing
  • Recruitment and promotion
  • Stress and how to manage it
  • Keeping in touch during sickness absence
  • Returning to work and reasonable adjustments
  • Promoting wellbeing within the work place

 

After this workshop, you will be able to make a real difference in your workplace as you can recognise if your staff are suffering from mental health issues, and provide them with support.
