Did you know that in 2018 83% of the UK adult population was using some type of social media?
Funded by Collaboration 4 Growth (C4G) and presented by James Hopkins of DBS Internet Marketing.
Dates & times
This workshop is split into two parts, so you will be required to attend both days.
Monday 20th July 10:00am – 12:00pm
Tuesday 21st July 10:00am – 12:00pm
This two-part webinar will consider why you and your business should be using social media, and will start by making you think about what you want to achieve from social media.
It will then move on to help you draw up a social media strategy. We will firstly consider which social media platforms should you focus your efforts on, looking at Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram, and asking:
• What is each platform?
• Who is using them?
• How are they using them?
• Are they your ideal target audience?
We will consider the importance of reviews, look at writing content and blogs that can be used as part of your social media strategy, shortening links, and talk about what to post and when.
Finally, we will go on to look at paid social media advertising, considering for each of the four main platforms the advantages and disadvantages, who you can target, the different types of advert and how much to spend. Finally, we will consider how to measure the effectiveness of your campaigns and what tools you can use to manage social media.
