**EUR1 Documentation Update** – Switzerland No Longer Accepting Digital Stamps & Signatures:

Following a recent BCC notification we have been made aware that Switzerland are no longer accepting digital stamps and signatures.

Swiss customs had been accepting digital signatures and stamps as a temporary easement during Covid but have now reverted to insisting on wet stamps and signatures. Please be advised a number of EUR1’s have been rejected for this reason.

Moving forward all EUR1’s for Switzerland will need to be submitted on ecert as standard applications and the Ecert platform has been updated to reflect this change.

There will also be the requirement to ink sign the blank EUR1 forms prior to submission. As a reminder we can lodge pre signed blank signed EUR1’s here to avoid processing delays.

Any questions in relation to this update, please don’t hesitate to contact us at: international@lincs-chamber.co.uk or on 01522 846929.
