Emma wins top ‘Women in Safety and Compliance’ award

An Ongo Colleague, Emma Atkinson, has won a top, industry recognised award for her work in driving safety and compliance.

The ASCP Safety and Compliance awards are held annually and are dedicated to this topic in the social housing and facilities management sectors.

This year they took place in June, with Emma taking home the ‘Women in Safety and Compliance’ award.

This category is dedicated to the delivery of safe practices and processes and look to recognise an individual who has gone above and beyond in their role.  It also celebrates those providing encouragement to other women in their organisation or sector through mentoring, support initiatives or inspiration.

When asked about the win, Emma, Building Compliance Manager at Ongo, commented: “It’s a genuine honour to have won this award, and to have been recognised alongside so many fantastic people in the industry.

“It’s a great achievement not only for me but the whole Building Compliance Team, as we are all passionate and dedicated to ensuring the safety of our buildings and residents”
