Chattertons Solicitors & Wealth Management to Join Forces with Double & Megson

Chattertons Solicitors & Wealth Management has announced that it will become the successor practice to Double & Megson from 1 July 2026, bringing together two long-established firms with strong roots in the local community.

The move means Chattertons will expand into Bourne and Market Deeping, with Double & Megson’s offices at 11 Market Place, Market Deeping, and 4 West Street, Bourne, continuing to serve clients as usual.

For existing clients, it will very much remain business as usual, with the same trusted local teams continuing to support individuals, families and businesses from their current offices. Clients will also benefit from access to a wider range of legal, wealth management and tax advisory services through Chattertons.

Double & Megson was founded in 1978 and has served clients across Bourne and Market Deeping for nearly 50 years. The firm has built a trusted reputation within the community for approachable, high-quality legal advice.

Richard Wood and Shanta Shah will remain closely involved with the offices and will join Chattertons as consultants, continuing to support clients and lead their respective teams.
