Chamber heading in new direction with established Chamber Assembly
Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce is heading in a new direction with the formation of the Chamber Assembly, which is made up of experts across a variety of areas and sectors throughout Lincolnshire.
The Chamber Assembly will connect and collaborate with members and get involved in developing projects and formulating ideas that can help and support the local economy we operate within.
Simon Beardsley, Chief Executive, Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “Over the past year, we have seen some significant but exciting changes happening here at the Chamber and one of these is the formation of the Chamber Assembly.
“With funding to the public sector becoming much scarcer, the Chamber Assembly will assist the business community plug some of the gaps by working collaboratively, coordinating activity and making connections.”
The Chamber Assembly currently consists of the following members, with more to be confirmed by the end of the year:
Simon, concluded: “This mutually beneficial activity is at the heart of what a Chamber of Commerce is all about and currently is very much needed to ensure we make the most of every opportunity, helping businesses in Lincolnshire grow and prosper.”
The full Assembly itself will meet four times a year, led by the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce Chair.
