Sleaford warehouse sold to new owner-occupier

BTG Eddisons has confirmed the sale of a 24,481 sq ft warehouse in Sleaford, Lincolnshire to an owner-occupier in a deal where offers in excess of £1.2 million were invited by the agent. The warehouse, on a 1.75 acre site, is on Hadley Road - an established employment district of Sleaford that is close to the town centre and access to the A47 dual carriageway. The freehold of the premises was offered for sale by BTG Eddisons with vacant possession. The identity of the new owner-occupier is not disclosed by the agent beyond it being an operator in the automotive sector who covers Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire in serving a commercial and private vehicle owning client base. Will Wall, Regional Director, Property Agency at BTG Eddisons, led the negotiations on the sale of the Hadley Road warehouse on behalf of the seller. Speaking about the deal, he said, “The owner-occupier market, particularly in the industrial premises sector, is increasingly being driven by businesses looking for properties that not only meet their current requirements but also future-proof in anticipation of any expansion.”
