Help to Grow: Management Course Success

The University of Lincoln is pleased to announce that the first cohort of the Help to Grow: Management Course has been a success, seeing over a dozen SME’s complete the programme this Spring.

The government-funded program designed to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) grow and develop is delivered by Lincoln International Business School, which is accredited by the Small Business Charter.

The Small Business Charter is a government-led initiative that recognises organisations that provide high-quality business support to SMEs. The Charter is awarded to organisations that meet a set of criteria, including having a clear focus on SMEs, providing high-quality services, and being committed to continuous improvement.

The course is designed to be taken alongside full-time work, and it will cover a range of topics, including leadership, innovation, digital adoption, employee engagement, marketing, responsible business, and financial management.

The Help to Grow: Management Course is 90% funded by the government, so participants will only pay £750. The next cohort will begin in October 2023, and registrations are now open.

Emma Craven, a director at the Grange Spa said “ The course has given us practical skills that we can apply very easily to our business and there has been a great support team and fabulous lecturers”
