United Lincolnshire Hospitals Charity are on the lookout for extreme adventurers

Are you on the search for something mighty to challenge yourself?

United Lincolnshire Hospitals Charity are holding their very first ever charity skydive day on Saturday, 1st October at Skydive Hibaldstow.

Charity Fundraiser at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Gary Burr, said: “We are excited to work with Skydive Hibaldstow to give people the opportunity of a lifetime, something that is not only fearsome but something that is new and exhilarating.

“Whether people want to fulfil a lifetime ambition, jump in memory of a loved one or push themselves out of their comfort zone, we are here to help every ‘leap’ of the way.

“We are asking for a £70 registration fee and a minimum of £300 raised through fundraising. The full cost for the skydive is £370. Of this, £180 pays for the skydive jump costs. The remaining minimum £190 sponsorship will go directly to the charity to help support our staff and patients.”

United Lincolnshire Hospitals Charity supports more than 750,000 people each year across the four hospital sites in Boston, Grantham, Lincoln and Louth, and supports staff to deliver outstanding care to patients, their families and carers.

Skydive Hibaldstow is the largest UK skydiving centre offering skydives from 15,000ft – one of the highest in the UK and Europe. The centre is based near Brigg in North East Lincolnshire UK.

A minimum of £180 sponsorship must be paid to United Lincolnshire Hospitals Charity two weeks before the skydive day to guarantee a place The remaining sponsorship can be paid after the skydive.
