ChamberConnect: Networking our way through 2022 – A How-To Webinar

ChamberConnect is a series of interactive virtual events to help you bounce back stronger by upskilling your people – from senior management to junior staff. Funded by Collaboration 4 Growth (C4G)

People buy from people – which is why networking is such a powerful sales and marketing tool for your business.

Having run numerous forms of networking and events and upon speaking with our members, we recognise that not everyone knows how to successfully ‘network’, which is why we are delighted to be offering this hour-long webinar with Stefan Thomas, the author of Amazon’s bestseller Business Networking for Dummies.

Also, author of ‘Instant Networking’ and ‘Win The Room’, Stefan is an international keynote speaker and has spoken on networking for The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Lloyds Bank, Utility Warehouse, and many other organisations.

Learning Outcomes

• Learn how to prepare for networking events, both what you’re going to say and what you need to take with you

• How to get your mindset right, how to be confident when you attend events, so that you appear confident and don’t feel stressed

• How to use the event itself, with some tips to make the most of them

• How to present a 60 second introduction if needed

• What to do after events and how to follow up with people.

About Stefan Thomas

Describing his expertise, Stefan says:

“What most people think networking is, and what it actually is, are two very different things.

“So many people WISH they could win more business through networking. I help them do exactly that.

“I help them to feel confident in their networking, to perfect their pitch and to build a unique follow up strategy and system which works.”
