Have your say on how the town develops

Sleaford Town Council have set up a Working Group of councillors and local people to produce our first Neighbourhood Development Plan. This Plan will give people more say in how the town develops.

Through the Neighbourhood Plan you can:

– Tell us all about your business and what it needs to thrive

– Say where you want new homes, shops, schools, offices, or other buildings to be located, or not located!

– Influence the design of new buildings, roads, green spaces, leisure facilities and other developments

Without a Neighbourhood Plan the future of Sleaford will be decided by others, according to their needs not yours. We want to hear from as many businesses as possible. By contributing to the Neighbourhood Plan you can make sure that decisions being made are the best for your business.

This plan will not be just another document sitting on shelves ignored. It will be a document that must be taken account of whenever an application is made for planning permission in the town. We hope to have it ready by the end of 2021.
