It is vital, in the field of asbestos removal, to have well trained, qualified employees. With their dedication to staff development and as part of a wider, ongoing training plan, Rilmac Asbestos Services have recently enrolled six employees on to a relevant NVQ course.
The course, a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Removal of Hazardous Waste, leads to a competence based qualification and is delivered in the workplace. The training is being overseen by AS Training Services and will involve onsite assessments. The five Rilmac employees benefitting from the training are three supervisors; Lee Appleby, Matt Melnyczenko and Ben Marshall, alongside two operatives; Matthew Giddens and Conor Morgan.
“We believe in ensuring our workforce is highly trained and that individuals are able to develop in their careers.” said Rilmac Asbestos Services Managing Director Michael Woods, “We are proud to be able to support these five employees in improving their knowledge and skills base.”
